”The staff made our experience so much better than we expected. Would definitely be going back for another stay ”

”The beds were comfortable. Sadly I felt many things were tired the towels (only one shower towel provided we had to use hand towels), the two frying pans were crumbling away and I feel not fit for purpose. A general feeling of a spring clean is due, especially in draws, also the rugs in the living rooms are hazardous as the non slip backing is worn out. The character of the chapel is fabulous. ”

”Have stayed here several times over a number of years - staff are lovely, food tasty and rooms comfy… stayed in the main house for the first time and although the room was lovely, it was directly above the bar so there was some noise - maybe worth considering if wanting an early night! Otherwise a perfect stay x”

”This is a lovely place to stay. Beautiful old building, comfortable rooms and a brilliant breakfast. The food in the restaurant is excellent and the bar is cozy. Justina and the team were welcoming and helpful. We’ll be back!”

”Spotless room, silent nights sleep, lovely hilltop location. Goulash in the restaurant was superb (chef is Hungarian), Brekkie was also top notch with all types of eggs. I ate in a lovely nook with fire.”

”Staff were lovely”

”Location was different to what's on the map (it's right next door to the New County Hotel). The apartment was lovely though, looks like it's been recently refurbished and was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was very well equipped with dishwasher and washing machine. £250 damage deposit seemed quite excessive. Not sure if they get a lot of trouble as housekeeping also came in during stay but didn't do any cleaning, make beds, or fold towels etc (I only knew they'd been because they folded...

”I arrived late at night, it was a bit of effort to find the exact place of my Room at the property site as there was no Counter Service late at night. Driveway at the rear of the Property is very rough, definitely can be improved by Owner.”
