”We booked this very last minute and got the last room! It was advertised as small and delivered. Beggars cant be choosers but it was clean and comfortable. The car park is small so unless you're there early its one of the many privately owned car parks in the town and harbour. Beware of the time limits and restrictions. Hotel has a lovely outside seating area in the late afternoon sunshine. Didn't have diner at the hotel but breakfast was buffet style with an excellent choice for all the fussy...
”We were early by half an hour, abrutly told by lady on the bar that check in was from 4. I only asked if this was where we checked in.
First impression matter. Otherwise a lovely stay. Would return.”
”I loved primrose cottage so much. It was just perfect for my solo trip. It really felt like a home from home, I felt so comfortable there.
The duvet and pillows were so soft and plentiful.
The Wi-Fi was great, no issues at all.
The kitchen was very well stocked, more than it needed to be but my favourite part of the stay was the shower.
It was - hands down - the most powerful shower I've ever had. Just perfect after my run on the beach

”Really enjoyed our stay here. Lovely cottage. Had all we needed. Clean, comfortable and cosy. Fab location for supermarket, bakery, gift shops and loads of restaurants a few steps away.! Short drive to major sightseeing spots too We would definitely stay again and looking into when we can rebook.

”Comfortable beds, great linens, all the extras you would expect in a better quality hotel. They even left eggs and bread for breakfast so we wouldn't need to run out on the first evening. I loved the unique decorating touches and gardens. But I needed a step-stool to unlock the patio door and could not find one. ”The cottage is next to the main road. No staying up late in bed in the mornings, the road noise woke us up from 7am. Quiet at night. The location is good, very central to explore Northumberland. Cottage well equipped, especially the kitchen. Communication was good with host. Good options for restaurants (3 within walking distance) and take aways, Coop and Budgens in the village. ”
