”Great first stay at the Joiners Arms. We took our dog and they had a bed, ball, bowls and treats in our room. Sunday lunch was amazing as ever, service prompt, extra gravy not a problem. Couldn't fault breakfast, really impressive and the check-in/check-out was easy. Would highly recommend.”

”Lovely character hotel in very peaceful surroundings. The staff were just lovely , friendly and chatty . Our room was in a good location and it was easy to get to the restaurant , bar and spa . The room was a good size and the towels were nice and soft, the hot water plentiful too. The only slight dent in the room was the condition of some of the fixtures and fittings . The carpet had quite a few stains on it , the shower settings were missing parts and the towel radiator missing coatings ....

”Glebe Cottage was a lovely place to stay. The location was superb with views out to sea from the cottage and hot tub. The cottage was well appointed and very clean. I read other people’s reviews so brought some scissors. Bonus of having electric car chargers right outside the cottage. It’s really thoughtful of the owners to mow the edges of the fields so you can easily walk to the coast or to Embleton village without going on the road.
