”Very nice hotel. It's in a rural area, so not close to any restaurants (15 minute drive away), but they cook a nice dinner upon request. And great breakfast, too. It's well located to visit many waterfalls, Westman islands and parks.”

”Super beautiful wooden building! We loved the place. Self check-in system was easy. Good breakfast was included. There was a nice hot pool outdoors. However, there was sand or dirt inside the room and right on the window, above the bed. More cleaning is needed. I recommend this place, it was amazing!”

”Our room was in a small building that reminded me of a Spanish villa. The room was on the second floor and had a view of the mountains. The bathroom was comfortable (shower was a bit small for my over 6 foot husband). Breakfast was very well stocked (prunes were a bit stale). The nearby Hotel Skógá restaurant was convenient. Access to the waterfall and related hikes was easy. A bonus is that we could walk to the Skogar Museum and the nearby forest planted by former students. My only suggestion...
