”This accommodation is a private room adjacent to the owner’s home. The location is excellent for exploring Raiatea and joining local tours. A good small grocery store is just steps away, and a large Carrefour in town is within biking distance. The room is comfortable, and the bathroom feels new, clean, and fresh. ”We took our family of 4 and had a lovely time. The location is quiet, peaceful, and remote which we loved. We walked all around the property as much as we pleased and explored the beautiful scenery. The fishing was great and Captain was amazing. They even cooked the fish we caught and the chef was superb. It’s very easy to relax and unwind from the American hustle and bustle at Aotera. The host was very welcoming, friendly and helpful during the whole stay. It definitely was a week in paradise.”

”I really wanted to give this place high reviews, but unfortunately the great pluses this property has (amazing location right on the water and views) are negated by an overzelous and controling owner. Prepared to be scolded, warned and admonished for many things a paying costumer would not in other stablishments. I.e. do not take the kayak out in the beautiful bay because it could be damaged by the coral..are u serious? Why have a kayak on the property if it cant be used. Or, dont leave the AC...

”Overall, I thought it was nice and comfortable. Google maps originally took me to the wrong place, but we got it sorted out. They seem to have a fair number of animals - besides a couple of dogs and a cat, I definitely heard a rooster as well. So it could be a little disruptive overnight when you're trying to sleep if you're not used to that sort of thing.”

”Lovely, helpful staff see you to this ocean side bungalow with kitchen facilities, comfortable bed and great deck where you can sit and enjoy the sight of the reef. Snorkelling right from your private beach yields coral and tropical fish from the shore. A couple of downsides: there are no staples like sugar, coffee, salt, etc in the kitchen; there is no comfortable chair so you either sit on the bed or you are upright at the table; the reception is only there for assistance for an hour or so...
