”I wish there were more stars available for this hotel. It is worth the cost. I can’t say enough about how awesome ALL staff were with us.”

”The location right at the lake is amazing and the view from hotel room balcony magnificent. Overall service by the staff was good and everything worked smoothly. The only downside is the high (Swiss) prices at hotel restaurants and bars. Apart from that this hotel really become one of our favorites.”

”The hotel staff is sweet and helpful and gave us a warm welcoming. The hotel is historic and charming and with a beautiful garden, there is a nice restaurant.”

”Brand new B&B in a small mountain town. Excellent facility - extremely clean and organized. Check-in was a breeze. Outside deck area for breakfast in the morning was perfect. A brother and sister own the place together and they are very accommodating and helpful. The town is very small (the road directly in front of the B&B is two way, but really only fits one car at a time so it is a bit of a challenge) but is well located to visit Lake Como or Lugano close by,”

”Luxurious breakfast, clean beautiful room. We were upgraded into a better room with 2 bedrooms. Awesome. ”

”Extraordinary stay! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome, and the property was simply beautiful. The service was exceptional, and every detail made our stay special. Exceeded our expectations. Daniella in the lounge made our dinner enjoyable! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Parking too!”

”Very beautiful and cozy hotel! Our room had a great view to the garden and Lugano lake. Spacious room, which was very clean and pleasant, it had a nice balcony. There was an excellent pianist playing in the lounge whole evening on Saturday night. Hotel is situated by only 20 minutes walk from the city center and there was a free bus connection frequently going to city center. We recommend the hotel and would like to visited soon again. ”

”Our stay was exceptional with a nice balcony and view. The breakfast and dinner was excellent and they even provided a complimentary smart vehicle to take into the city. Nice touch.”

”Our stay at Hotel Ungheria was great! Good room with airco, facilities, great breakfast and excellent helpfull service throughout. A spotless and very well run family hotel. Varese itself is lovely, as well as centrally located, especially if you like to travel by public transport. Milan, Como, Lugano and more are nearby, including Lake Varese (cycle lane around it), Villa Panza and Sacro Monte. Fully recommended.”

”Loved everything about our stay! Very friendly and lovely staff. Location was beautiful and private up on the mountain. Also very good indoor spa and outdoor pool areas.”

”Nice ville but not completely finished yet. Kept to the original style. Message early if you plan to check in late. 10min drive from the shore”

”Établissement moderne et très bien isolé phoniquement.”
