”Convenient location (boring main road but near the small downtown area). Friendly staff and pretty grounds - it's several small buildings around a courtyard with pool and outdoor seating. The bathrooms and many furnishings are quite worn - it feels quite overdue for a refresh. ”

”This place was wonderful! The breakfast was varied, good, and you can take it to this beautiful setting on an outdoor patio. Leisurely and peaceful. The staff was incredibly helpful - with some tech issues I had, giving me tips about getting to LAX, and getting around in general. The front desk people knew what they were talking about and very gracious, kind and knowledgable. I would stay here any time I am in Claremont and recommend it highly. ”

”Room was clean. No remote for the TV, had to go to the front desk to get one (because the phone didn’t work). Holes in the wall. AC was SUPER loud and so were the dogs in the other room! The guy at the front desk was nice and polite. Obviously no pride in ownership ”

”It was under construction (a surprise) ,and the power was out until 7pm. After we checked in, the key didn't work, so we got another one. Then, the toilet was not connected in the tank , so we had to have it fixed. It was reconnected only to stop working again. It needed a new flapper, so it never fully worked. Lastly, the noise from the top floor kept us awake throughout the night. ”

”Stayed a few years ago was budget but nice. Not anymore. First room smelt so bad we asked to change rooms. Staff were helpful and changed the room no problem. Second room was better but bed blankets had cigarette burns. The sheets were old with stains. We got some more fresh sheets but these were still the same with stains on them. But the Main problem bitten by BED BUGS during the stay. Shame as we have stayed here a few times with the last about 5 years ago, but after this experience I would...
