”I know how important review ratings are, so I don’t want to leave something negative, however I know how important reviews are and I don’t want anyone else to show up with their family and be scared either. The most important thing I want to note is that i feel like you need to make sure you arrive during the day time hours because we arrived at 11 pm and our kids were truly scared since you have to walk in thru a kind of creepy basement area (where bedroom #1 is). ”Sleeps 3-5 easily if you share the main beds. Pellet stove very easy to operate and can heat the entire place. Plenty of pillows for the beds and lots of throw pillows too. Quiet location, diner around the corner. Coffee maker, hot water kettle, stove and microwave. Powerful shower if you like that sort of thing. Nice backyard courtyard to hang out in if the weather is nice. Washer and dryer are a nice plus as well. I’d definitely stay here again.”

”As advertised this is a very comfortable tent in the remote hills of Humboldt county. There is no power in the tent which is both charming and challenging. The whole farm is off grid, from an environmental standpoint it’s a really interesting place. The hike to the latrine was challenging for two oldish Americans, but if you want to be away from everything this is a great spot. The tent was super comfortable and the staff were quick to help.”

”Beautiful location near the redwoods. House is older, but great for families to gather (larger living room and dining room and kitchen). There are lots of stairs between bedrooms, so not great for crawling babies. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking, but not well organized (we had to open every drawer when looking for something). Loved the redwoods in the backyard and beautiful view. Living room needs a new smoke detector.”

”We enjoyed our stay very much! The property was a little difficult to locate, as it was through a gate at the back of the property. We ended up arriving in the dark at night and found ourselves down the wrong driveway, but once we saw the Vacasa sign, the location became evident.”

”The Library is in a beautiful, bucolic setting on the outskirts of Ferndale. We enjoyed being in the dairy district, with cows munching the pasture grass right outside the kitchen window. The high ceilings, the 3,000 books, the abundant daylight, and the quiet of the location "outside" of town added to the delightful stay we enjoyed.”
