”Good clean room. Comfortable bed Powerful shower -excellent Food - ok not really much taste. Prawn cocktail wasnt brilliant , lettuce wasnt washed, not many prawns. Steak cooked to well (which i asked for) but not much taste to the meat. Would stay again maybe not dine. ”

”It had character but was a little dated. Very convenient for local village pubs. Staff excellent.”

”This property is located in a village famous for witchcraft…. Cows and horses roam around on the streets and you feel in a different world… ”

”A lovely romantic getaway! Very friendly staff, tastefully decorated rooms and great breakfast! Its remote but its a great position to explore the area. We werent very impressed with our dinner from the pub but we ordered late so maybe we were just unlucky. We stayed in 'Normandy' room which is a superior double - nice room but it only has a bath, no shower, which we didnt realise when we request a room with a bath. We would definitely stay again when in the area. ”

”Smallish bed room, small wardrobe, comfortable bed, adequate clean bathroom, pleasant helpful staff, acceptable breakfast. All fine for a one or 2 night stay”

”Excellent stay for our trip to The New Forest. The room was cosy, had everything that was needed from table n chairs, two comfy chairs, very comfy bed and pillows. Iron and board, towels, wash flannel, all wash/cleaning equipment, mini cooker, toaster, pint milk in fridge. Everything was perfect. I would say though that coyld have done with a better iron as it didn't seem to iron properly. Apart from that the stay was excellent. Would definately recommend. ”

”Karelia is a beautiful cabin in a beautiful location. Close to amenities and things to do for the whole family. The children and adults enjoyed the hot tub and we couldn’t have asked for a better family holiday. Hoping to stay again.”

”Great house and fab location, loved the cows and horses walking by the front door! Only a quick stroll to the village. Would also recommend the cycle hire shop and great local bike trail to the Deer Sanctuary. Queens Head is a great pub with good food. ”

”The cottage was fantastic and served us well for an extended family of 17. Well equipped kitchen and facilities and a beautiful setting. Great communication and assistance from the host. We were celebrating a 70th birthday and very much enjoyed our time in the New Forest & Bournemouth.”

"Definately good hotel, maybe not quite living up five star status. Our third hotel stay during the same week, so it is easy to compare with other being four stars. The staff are doing their best, but glitches in new room cards and reception procedures left a sour taste. The place at the shore is nice, alltough part of the view is blocked by harbour warehouses. It is a bit far from the city centre by walking. The bar at the top has a nice view, but is noisy. All in all good experience, but not exceptionel."

Nice surprise

"Spent 2 nights in Moxy and had a blast. The hotel is very centrally located and easy to access from the train or bus stations. Lobby is quite fun and there's a lot to look at. Clean and modern bathrooms. Recommend strongly."
