”This place is great. Not for it's facilities, but for the honesty, kindness and professionalism of it owner Anska. The bungalow rooms are very simple, with a/cand shower, clean an comfortable and cooectly priced. There is very good food served for breakfast and evening meals if you want them. Anska will take you in his jeep or tuc-tuc to any of the marvelous sites in the area and also do jeep safaris into the local parks to see elephants and other fauna. All at reasonable prices. ”Nice beds, wonderful architecture and large in the house/rooms. The most beautiful room we had on Sri Lanka. The food was amazing, we can really recommend this. The best ever tuna steak and a lot more. We spend 4 wonderful nights at Taru Villa Habarana. Nice pool as well. They have it all! So much to see in the surroundings. We can really recommend this hotel!!”

”Spent two nights, 3 days at this property recently while touring around at Pinnawela, Sigiriya, Dambulla and Minneriya. Great location to visit all those sites. Excellent service with a smile. Buffets were plentiful and delicious, great variety. Pool was so relaxing and lush gardens that were well kept really felt like paradise. ”A beautiful resort complex, the mini homes are spacious and comfortable. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The full board option was a good choice with breakfast lunch and dinner being a broad array for the buffet with differing choices each day with some staples remaining consistent. The chefs were kind enough to do hoppers in a way that I wanted that was fresh. The pool was closed at the time for maintenance, however you could use the sister hotel’s pool which was a 10min walk away....
”Very clean and comfortable rooms. Good breakfast and dinner. The wok is reason enough to take the buffet. Friendly staff. At least our rooms had bathrooms which were open to a small walled "yards" so that the brieze blow through the bathroom. First it seemed odd but it actually was really interesting and enjoyable solution. Totally recommendable.”

”Great location for visiting sigiriya, but despite coming up as "Dambulla" on the map, it's about a 20 minute drive from there. Busses to Dambulla run from the end of the road and are quite regular.
The rooms are basic but nice enough. Our room was not dirty but not spotlessly clean either. It had a private patio which was perfect for relaxing.
