”This property is so serene and peaceful, surrounded by lush greenery. You can see plenty of wild life from peacocks, iguanas to gecko’s, which we got to experience first hand. We were told that sometimes elephants venture and drink from the river further away from the property that can be seen from the rooms, we were unlucky not to see them The staff were all really friendly, kind and accommodating. Lovely, clean swimming pool. We came as a family of 5 to climb Sigiriya and en route to the East...

”I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Absolutely fantastic. Asela is so helpful and even takes you in his tuk tuk into town should you require anything. The property is beautifully maintained. I recommend that you take advantage of the magnificent tradition Sri Lankan home cooked dinner. It was delicious and and so cheap and we did that twice.”

”A touch of paradise! The host and his family gave us the warmest welcome in the world. The room was spacious and spotless. Despite being in the forest, there wasn’t a single ant or mosquito in the room. It had the most comfortable bed and pillows. We had a lovely balcony overlooking lush greenery. Breakfast was served on the balcony every morning at our preferred time, and was undoubtedly the best breakfast I’ve had in any hotel around the world. I had informed them in advance that I was coming...

”Beautiful place, very clean and accommodating for our three families during our short stay. Host was exceptional kind and helped navigate the space and surrounding areas during our first visit to Sigriya. Breakfast was also delicious. Wished that we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend to Others, pictures show true representation of the place.”

”This place is great. Not for it's facilities, but for the honesty, kindness and professionalism of it owner Anska. The bungalow rooms are very simple, with a/cand shower, clean an comfortable and cooectly priced. There is very good food served for breakfast and evening meals if you want them. Anska will take you in his jeep or tuc-tuc to any of the marvelous sites in the area and also do jeep safaris into the local parks to see elephants and other fauna. All at reasonable prices. He has a good...

”The property was absolutely beautiful and well kept. The staff were amazing and the meals were delicious. Highly recommend!”

”We were extremely happy with our 3 nights stay at Gabaa. Staff were superb. All the cabins were hidden amongst the nature, making it must more relaxing and enjoyable. Property was very quiet and had plenty of privacy. Hiruni and Eranda and also everyone else were always available and made our stay memorable. My kids didn’t want to leave the property. Rooms very spacious and AC was worked perfectly. We got some tea and food and they were authentic.”

”Property has everyone a guest would want to spend their holiday with the biggest highlight being the pool with an amazing view to the Lion’s Rock. Location is a short drive to everything but you need to have a driver or take taxis to get around to anywhere including landmarks, restaurants (especially if hotel restaurants are closed), & cafes. They have many activities such as Paper Factory Visit, Pottery & Cycling all included in the stay. Staff was also very helpful which made the stay...

”The hot water was very weak, hard time getting shower. ”

”as amazing as siguriya itself is, and it is, the staff at king's resort were the highlight. nothing was too much trouble, true professional hospitality, it was great. we were there for our 20th wedding anniversary and they made it special. sri lanka is amazing. truely. did i mention the plunge pool? you'll prob want to get that. the big pool is brilliant but the plunge pool, for us, was really special”

”The family that run the accomodation were very nice people. Very helpful & accomodating. The breakfast was probably the best breakfast I’ve eaten in Sri Lanka. The string hoppers & potato curry were fantastic. The pool was quite handy in front of our room, especially after a humid day. I would stay here again for sure.”
