Beyond the village, the market town of Rye is well worth a visit with its selection of independent shops and cafes, while the nearby vineyards make for a great day out, and why not enjoy a trip on the Kent & Sussex Steam Railway to Tenterden. Battle, another pretty market town is close by, as is the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which boasts an abundance of beautiful walks and scenery. This is a fantastic base from which to explore the Kent and East Sussex coastline, with the seaside town of Hastings with its award-wining beach and pier only nine miles away.

Enter this pretty chocolate box cottage into the dining area, where there is a dining table, seating for six, and a quiet corner with a comfy chair, perfect for curling up with a good book. The well–equipped kitchen leads off the dining area and has an electric oven and hob, fridge and freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. The downstairs bedroom is a super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made up as a twin on request) with an en-suite bathroom with separate shower and WC. Stairs from the dining area lead up to a bright and airy lounge with spectacular views across the Sussex countryside, there are two comfy sofas and a Smart TV. The first-floor bedroom is a super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into a twin on request) and also has an en-suite bathroom with separate shower and WC.

Heading outside, you will have use of a wonderful cottage garden in front of the property, bordered by a pretty brick wall and well-stocked beds. There is a patio table and chairs for enjoying al fresco meals using the charcoal BBQ. There is private parking for two cars.
