”I stayed in B2, which is a basement room. It had a VERY strong mildew odor, chipped furniture with crooked drawers, and patchwork paint on the ceilings. This room does NOT warrant the 3.5 rating that this property has, however, other rooms may be better. The shower was clean, however, so they earned one Star for that.”

”This hotel was home for a week while my.mom underwent surgery. The kitchen was very much appreciated as we prepped for her pre and post op needs. They even had a wheelchair available which came in handy after surgery. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. We will definitely stay here again.”

”Beautiful location. It’s in the heart of Columbia but tucked away perfectly for a nice retreat. Right by a nice trail. The view of the lake is breathtaking. Pool closes kind of early so make sure you pay attention to the time. Restaurant was worth every penny. Beds were nice. Loved the personalized touch with the tv having my name on it.”

”We had such a wonderful stay at The Inn at Mary’s Land Farm and would absolutely come back. We came from Southern California and stayed here in between DC and Manhattan while in town for my son’s lacrosse tournament, and it ended up being one of the highlights of the trip. ”We had a handicap room and the beds were platform low beds, which didn't make much sense for an older person to get out of bed. All the employees were nice but the place needs a refresh and carpet removed in the pet rooms.”

”The hotel was clean and maintained well. Hotel rooms were very nice and included full fridge, microwave, stove, etc. It had a feel of an apartment style hotel. We were provided with good customer service. Only suggestion is to sanitize/deodorize hotel elevator. It has an unpleasant odor in there.”

”Stayed 4 nights with family of 5 and housekeeping only came once to clean our room throughout our entire stay. Very disappointing experience. Asked for linens to be changed after my daughter spilled ice cream on the bed and they literally dropped off new linens for me to make the bed myself after paying a very expensive amount for the stay. We found a bug in the bathroom on the checkout day. Never returning”

”We had a wonderful stay at Wayside Inn. Our host, Joe, was very helpful and was a great chef! Our breakfasts were very good and got us ready for the day ahead. Parking was not a problem and the surrounding yard was shady and pleasant. The giant oak in the front is reported to be 200 or more years old. Our room and bath were well maintained. We would definitely stay there again. The Inn also has a great history dating back to the late 18th Century. It is said that George Washington stayed there...

”The picture on the site was misleading. This should be called a motel, not a hotel. We were given an outside-entry room that looked nothing like the photos, and none of this was disclosed. The room and the entire environment were dirty, including the reception. The first staff member we met was rude, cold, and unhelpful. The WiFi didn't work, and guests were entered in on paper. We ended up not staying there at a, and no refund was given. Terrible experience-- I would never book here again and...

”The air-conditioning was out in the main lobby and every hallway. The elevator had no air circulation. The room was okay. There was a lot of trash under my bed from previous guests. I wpuldnt stay at this hotel again if given a choice.”
