This hotel is in a grand old building with a lot of charm. The lobby is huge. My first encounter upon check-in with the reception person was less than ideal. No smile and all business like. Can't really tell he is in hospitality business. I had complicated reservations due to my travel party members arriving on different days and my one-week stay was over four reservations, back to back. I tried to explain to him and was hoping not have to move rooms. He wasn't in the mood to even let me finish, so we only took care of the first two nights. Fortunately when I continued on my 2nd reservation, I was helped by a more sympathetic and patient Alexio. In any case, I still give the hotel high ratings because of the location, the convenience, the sumptuous breakfast, the beautiful courtyard that can offer dining outdoors.
