Good hotel with friendly service
Locations of the hotel is excellent. Colosseum and most of major attractions are in walking distance. Service if the hotel is excellent. You feel that you are being taken care of. Rooms are clean and modern. We hade some issues with air conditioning and room was quite warm but otherwise everything went smoothly. There were no breakfast, restaurant or bar facilities in the hotel but that was not a problem as there are many good restaurants close by. Can be recommended!

Siisti viileä hotelli
Siistit huoneet rakennuksen 3. kerroksessa. Sänkyyn päin läpinäkyvä suihkuseinä oli hieman erikoinen. Lokakuussa ei vielä kuulemma ole lämmitys päällä, eikä sitä saatu päälle lupauksesta huolimatta, joten huoneessa oli viileää.

Amazing hotel room
The hotel room was amazing: comfortable bed, very quiet, clean, good showers, spacious. Everything we could ask for. Breakfast was good also. We would recommend this!

Me, my partner and our daughter stayed here for 3 nights and it was amazing. I had a text a few days before about codes for the doors, asking about a baby cot to be put up and when we arrived staff were lovely and answered all our questions we had. We revived a list of recommended places to eat and visit and best way to get there. Our hotel room was extremely clean and location of the hotel was fantastic very central. Our last night we had to leave at 3:30am and reception helped us book a taxi back to the airport the day before we left Couldn’t fault this hotel at all, 10/10 recommend.

We had an excellent stay at 1880 Atypical rooms! Simona and Jeffrey were both accommodating and helpful. Most of Rome’s attraction are all walking distance from the hotel. The main terminal (Roma Termini) is within 10 minutes walking from the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay at 1880 Atypical Rooms and will stay again when we go back to Rome.

We were very happy to have used 1880 Atypical Rooms as our home base for our few days in Rome. The hotel room was huge (larger than hotel rooms in the U.S. which says a lot for Europe!), clean, and comfortable. The location was perfect and within easy walking distance to many landmarks - the Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, and Pantheon - as well as the metro station and many restaurants and shops. Simona was friendly and very helpful in checking in with us the day before, answering questions, and helping arrange an early morning cab to the airport. Would highly recommend!

Stayed for a week, and enjoyed the stay. Staff was wonderful and very helpful, always reaching out to me via WhatsApp to make sure I found the hotel, or if I need anything during my stay. Checked- in early, yet arrangements and directions were provided by the staff in advance so I had access to my room key, since staff doesn’t arrive until afternoon hours. This is kinda like a boutique hotel with a handful of rooms the owe on a specific floor of a very vintage building, which a small elevator is available inside the building. Room was nice, clean and roomy. Location was good, as it’s walking distance about 10-15 mins /within a mile from the Colosseum, Piazza Venezia Square, Spanish steps, and the Trevi Fountain. Bus stops are across the street that takes you to many other sight seeing areas in Rome. The train terminal in Rome was less than 10 mins away on car, easy Uber ride for about 5-10 euros give or take. Highly recommend this place, and when I return back to Rome I’d definitely stay here again.

The place was accessible to restaurants,shopping and near to almost all tourist spots. The hotel was clean. Simona and Jeff are helpful and accomodating. We highly recommend it to our family and friends.

The location is very good, there are many restaurants nearby, safe, Simona was very kind, the only problem I had is that they advertise that they have Parking and they do not, they are in an area that cars that do not have a permit cannot pass, i had to walk 15 minutes with the suitcases from the parking lot where I left the car to the hotel but beside that everything was good

Dear Mrs. Alejandra, First of all, thank you very much again for choosing 1880 Atypical Rooms and for mentioning our central location and the kindness of our staff! Yes, we are in the historical center so in a ZTL area where traffic and stops are forbidden from Monday to Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. It is true there are two parking nearby in Via Napoli but of course, you can go there after 6:00 p.m. during the week.
