”A very beautiful and unique hotel in a spectacular area just away from the tourist drag of Bath city center. The hotel has alot of character and period decor. Its an old hotel, so the heating was nit on, understandibly so as it was May. The plumbing is also not updated, so there is a hot tap and a cold tap at the sink. The facilities are adequate for a shorter stay. The hotel is being upgraded, so there was alot of noise above us for our 2 night stay. The staff are friendly and helpful.”

”Great Location but a bit tired and the oven was faulty which made cooking impossible. The fridge/ Freezer was in need of defrosting. Communal washing machine hard to find. Needed a deep clean. Great location saved it.”

”This hotel is quite easy walking distance into the main "old" part of town ... Bath Abbey, Roman Baths, River Avon, multiple churches, tons of restaurants. We loved our spacious room with a gorgeous high ceiling and updated bathroom. It felt like pure luxury after our cramped stay in London. We chose to enjoy their breakfast after an early morning walk down the river and around the Royal Victoria Gardens. There is an additional upcharge for the breakfast; but it was heaty and delicious with...

”Superior room at Brock's GH meant a spacious room with a table and two chairs, couch, chest of drawers and large bathroom. Only two negatives were: 1. No aircon like most of England, but a little fan helped. 2. Stairs to get to 2nd floor, no lift, again like most of England. These points should be documented in the property description.”
