”The hotel was clean and the room also. The food was great at the buffet. You also have 4 other choice of restaurant (reservation needed) The Hotel location is close to downtown 10min walk. You need to rent a a car for beach hopping .. safe and easy to navigate on the island. ”

”A lovely hotel that has very special jungle-hut fiiling. The environment is very lovely with all the trees and bushes, lots of iguanas and even colibris! The pools were more like ponds, and not that clean so if you're looking for great pools this is not for you (though the poolside sunbeds were very comfy), then again the beach is good and with the clear waters of Curacao it would a waste of a holiday to spend it on pool! Good service, also in the beach restaurant and very good breakfest....

”Best option for area. Walkable city. You could pay more but not get much more. Good view of Park where there is frequent entertainment. My second time here after looking at other options on previous trip. Staff is sincerely friendly and helpful.”

”We had a wonderful stay at Bijblauw. The sea view was beautiful and the decor was lovely. The building has lots of character to it. The staff were lovely and really helpful when we had issues and sorted them very quickly. Lotte was particularly great. They made our stay extra special for our honeymoon. The restaurant food was delicious. We had breakfast daily and ate lunch and dinner once there. The sunset whilst eating was beautiful. It was a great location to walk to local food and drink...

”Excelente estadía habitación muy amplia, la cama cómoda con todo lo que puedes necesitar tiene un buen escritorio, sofá, baño con secador, todo muy bonito en las instalaciones del hotel, la piscina excelente, tiene suficientes parqueaderos, la vista hermosa y muy bien ubicado tienes todo a la mano. ”The Jan Thiel area of Curacao is upper class and elegant. The Bed&Bike at Jan Thiel is perfectly situated away from partying, and close to the beauty of the island. Cars can be rented down in Jan Thiel. The staff was so helpful, rooms were clean and maintained daily, pool and sitting areas gorgeous. I’d definitely stay here again!”

"Very friendly staff, and always willing to help. Beautiful enviroment with pools, flowers and green everywhere. Beach short walking distance away and always beachchairs available. Many restaurants to choose from (for breakfast too). Only problem was the non-existing soundproofing in the rooms. Although otherwise nice, the apartment was basicly a wooden box. You could hear everything from outside like walking and normal talking, but also from the room above you and beside you. And I mean everything. It didnt help, that there were people going to beach party and coming in hammered at 3am. Jumpscared me awake few nights. Also loud talking even from balcony from building next door sounded like they were in the same room with us. So, the place looked and felt like right out of postcard, but peacefull it was not."
