”POOL WAS CLOSED!!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!! Staying with a youth basketball team and their families. Had down time between games AND NO POOL TO SWIM IN!!!!! Understaffed!!!! 1 man ran ragged Sunday & Monday July 12th and 13th...checking people out, trying to keep breakfast stocked, he was SO BUSY THE FRONT DESK WAS LEFT UNATTENDED! Needed a PLUNGER!!! WAS TOLD OUR ROOM 109 ALWAYS HAS THAT PROBLEM!!!! Took 15 minutes for someone to find us a plunger. Told we had to fix ourself...no staff...

”This is an older property with spacious rooms, pool, and a tavern. It is a perfect location if visiting Notre Dame.”

”The room was horrible, we could hardly walk around without bumping into something. We stayed for 6 days and no one ever cleaned the room even if we asked. Our bed had stains on the sheets and someone else’s hairs. We couldn’t use our tub, the water was cut off for hours, outside was filthy! We found a pill on the floor under the table. Staff would not give us new towels, new bedding, or even empty the trash. This was honestly the worst hotel we’ve EVER stayed in. Don’t waste your money or time.”

”It was satisfactory for an inexpensive stay. Unfortunately there were a lot of people in the halls around 3 am that were very noisy and lasted a couple hours.”

”When I get there I’m told that my reservation doesn’t exist because when I booked with expedia the hotel I booked with (Microtel) was sold to a best western and the reservation got lost basically. The staff at the hotel was really helpful and kind. I’ll never use expedia again but that’s not the hotels fault. Also the customer support staff for expedia were literally the worst most USELESS people I have ever spoken to in my entire life. Just completely useless and unhelpful. We talked in circles...

”My room had dirty washcloths hanging over the shower, the website states that a $25 pet fee is required PER STAY- upon check in I was charged per day, the guy did not care. Was staying there while i worked, my 13 year old son was with me & could not hook his Xbox up to the WiFi. Called the desk and they said “I don’t think you can hook game systems up.” Front desk seemed like they never wanted to be disturbed… bad experience.”

”Had to wait till 6pm to check into a room with only 1 bed when I reserved a room with 2 beds. No smoke detector, no hot water, no soap, plugs didn’t work properly. Blinds barely closed. The room was “clean” as it seemed like it was just finished being half remodeled.”

”The other visitors were very quiet. The house is super cool with the original molding flooring woodwork etc but has been restored. My room had a skeleton key and i couldnt figure out how to make it work and was too scared i would either lock myself in or out so i didnt use it and just trusted nobody would mess with anything. Nobody did. The water runs hot just fine, you just have to let it work its way up the pipes from downstairs where ever the hot water heater is. Nothing im not used too in my...
