”This is simply a very nice place to stay. It's unpretentious and excellent value for money. The rooms are small but comfortable and spotlessly clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. We have stayed a couple of times for B&B and would certainly recommend it.”

”The whole place is exceptional! We have stayed before and as a family it’s one of our happy places. Nothing is too much trouble, the staff are so welcoming and attentive, facilities are spotless and it’s a beautiful setting and interior design. ”We had a fabulous room , deluxe king suite with garden room view . Super comfortable with small kitchen area - great for our two night stay . Oven , hob, fridge etc . Room and bathroom clean with lovely views of the grounds and parkland beyond . Our second stay at this hotel . ”

”We visited the hotel for a business meetings nearby. The place is very traditional English Inn. Nice pub with good food. The rooms are clean and ok, but the place is a little worn down. I a still like it.”

”Tucked away in unspoilt countryside . It was indeed a warm, cosy double. Soft muted colours, furry blankets, gorgeous comfortable bed. Felt immediately at home' . The garden with twinkling lights and restaurant decoration are charming and food first class. We canx our booking due to an unforeseen hospital stay but could then make it and staff handled this effectively- thank you . We loved it and will be back. Thank you so much x ”

”The staff were very helpful and attentive. The suite was large but dated. Everything worked how it should and the spa facilities were brilliant. The breakfast was a bit basic and the same everyday but it filled us up. The location was easy to get to and the place looked exactly the same as the pictures.”
