”Great hotel in the centre of Plymouth shopping area walked to Plymouth Hoe for a concert 12/15mins but lovely walk. The Staff where amazing check in bar staff Restaurant all so good made you feel very welcome I even told the manager how good it was. Parked in drakes circus car park for 11 hours £15 car was really safe there as some car parks are really tiny if you have a 4x4 you would not get into some places. Certainly stay at this hotel again very happy ”

”The hotel is a stunning building. Even the public areas feel luxurious and comfortable. The room was spacious and clean. Our dog had been provided with everything he needed and could be included in everything except the spa. The food was excellent and so was the service. The one negative was how busy the pool area was in the spa. There were far fewer loungers than guests making the experience not as enjoyable as it could have been. ”Pleasant staff greeted us, room was ready so were able to check in 2 hours early.Breakfast included which was a nice surprise. Beds are comfy but staying in room 2 is LOUD. You've got the breakfast room below with chairs scraping the floor and people chatting.The main issue with the room is you can literally hear every movement of the person in the room above due to the horribly old creaky floorboards. Shifting their weight in the shower was a prominent noise maker - early in the morning too so...

”Beautiful historic hotel sensibly and chicly updated. Staff very attentive. Our suite was quite comfortable..terrific bed and lovely bath including charming decor and sitting area. The gardens are amazing and you can walk down to the river Tamar from the hotel. Breakfasts amazing, dinner good. Small niggle; pillows are all the same. I like a softer version fwiw.
