Ryde is a beautiful seaside town, easily accessible by the hovercraft or the catamaran.

Lots of bars and restaurants can be found here and of course the beautiful sandy beaches of Appley. The Isle of Wight offers numerous attractions to discover for all ages, including The Needles, with its chairlift, amusement park, boat rides, lighthouse and coloured sands of Alum Bay and also the local Museum of Bus and Coaches. Visit Queen Victoria’s favourite holiday residence, Osbourne House. The nearest train station is within a 15-minute walk from Lemon Cottage along with being on the main bus route that you can use to get to Newport and beyond.
