”Used as a quick stop over on the way north so was in and out in under 12 hours. However for the price the room was good had everything i needed. Staff were very helpful and friendly and it was generally really quiet so slept well. Breakfast was okay for a bit of cereal and a coffee did not have anything cooked. Perfectly fine for a quick stop off”

”The hotel was really nice, spacious, clean and well maintained Very convenient for where we needed to go Plenty of choice for food there was a Greggs, Costa, KFC and other outlets next door Staff were lovely and friendly Would definitely stay there again”

”The whole place looked dented. The room was basic with very tired old furniture. We had no toiletries whatsoever in the bathroom. Obviously the staff don’t check the notices near reception. Still a poster advertising Mothers Day 2025 hung up. In the breakfast area some tables had tablecloths and others didnt”

”There were some comments about rooms needing an upgrade so I was a bit worried. However, I got a very spacious room with a large comfy bed, the bathroom had a bathtub and a lot of space for my cosmetics, room was also very well equipped. One downside was lack of AC but at least the window opened. The hotel reception, lounge, bar and restaurant are much updated and really nice and comfortable. Lots of room to spread out and space is nicely designed. Breakfast was also very good, all menues...

”Your classic inn with worn down rooms and most basic breakfast. Uninterested staff who coukdn’t care less that there were BLOOD STAINS on the rug of our room. Got another room which after confirming two times was not similar than the bloody one we left behind. ”

”Property was clean enough. No room cleaning at all the 3 nights we stayed not even towel change. The rooms could do with a bit of dressing up with paint and filler but apart from that it was good location and really quiet which is always good after a loud day in town. Parking is good and cheap for York especially Ev charging. Overall good and quite”

”The room was spacious with a nice layout, the location was convenient to the historic city center and the staff were helpful. The direct Uber call link was a big help in getting to the train station.”

”As a solo female traveller I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. I arrived early and was able to leave my bag at the reception, which was then delivered to my room. The room was spacious, well decorated and clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The hotel was easy to find and is a stones throw away from the train station all the main attractions. I would stay again and recommend to friends and family.”
