”Ate in the Grill on the Hill. Attentive staff. Food was good but was expecting a better range and standard. Clean room. Did tend to get too hot. Great location if going to Leeds Airport as an overnight stay before flying. ”

”The room was pretty cold on arrival, but soon worked out how to get the heating on.Staff were very helpful and managed to sort out my booking, that Expedia failed to notify the hotel, so they were not expecting me.The room was aa bit outdated,and not very soundproof, the 7 lane bypass was very noisy during the night,even with the window closed.”

”So i irrived to a bed. Good start. Anne franks attick would be the ritz compared to this. Tv didn't work, heater didn't work, dispite me being advised to plug it in by the lady on reception. This turned out to not be a problem as she worked out how to put the heating on permanently for the next 2 day. Breakfast on the 1st morning wasn’t something id normally spend 7 quid on as it leaked oil from everywhere, i didn't have a 2nd Breakfast as the other guest sitting with his 4 pint cans of Stella...

”The room was clean but the carpets was severely worn. Had all the amenities, TV, iron + board, kettle and coffee. Parking at the Leisure centre and walk across an arcade- not ideal on a cold day but the multi-storey parking place was well lit, safe and well maintained and very cheap for 24hrs. Not an expensive place (price) but the one thing I couldnt palate was the breakfast (I simply walked away after tasting-absolutely unable even if you try and assumed that breakfast was 'not included').”

”Apart from my room which was warm and comfortable but lacked a bath towel, with only a shampoo and a very little round soap being provided, the whole place seemed sad and lonely. The Reception was poorly lit and signed, and was cold and damp; I appeared to be one of only two guests staying on the Saturday night and the guests in the room next to mine kept their television on until 5.15am and periodically seemed to drop something heavy on the floor. ”Didnt even get to the property. Wrongly advertised as having free parking. The manager refused to help as unaware to me there is a £100 deposit. Until i paid this . Even though I paid for the room he would not give me any details of the location. So held to ransom . He was polite but unhelpful. I chose this property exclusively because of parking as I cant walk distances and especially with a suitcase. Im still trying to get my money back ”
