The space
You will love this quiet unit with living room views of the ocean! This recently upgraded and fully furnished throughout, private 2 bedroom home includes a fully appointed kitchen with all appliances including stove, oven, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave. Bedrooms are comfortably furnished with beautiful new crisp linens, pillows and bed coverings. Spacious living room has extra sleeping space with a new comfy sofa. Smart 75 inch Flat Screen HDTV with Bose Sound System, free high-speed WiFi connection, patio with ocean views, assigned garage parking, elevator in building for easy access, hot tub and the best beach location San Diego has to offer. Both bedrooms have their own air conditioners — a rare bonus in Pacific Beach! While PB usually enjoys a cool ocean breeze, there are a handful of humid or hot days during the year when you’ll be glad to have AC. It’s the little comforts like this that make our place a great choice, ensuring you stay cool and relaxed no matter the weather. Had a good stay at this property. The view from the condo did not disappoint. The beds were comfortable and the condo was pretty well equipped. Dedicated and secure parking was great. Couple of things to be aware of - there was not central AC. There was an AC unit the master bedroom and a fan in the other bedroom. We had beautifully mild weather while we visited so was comfortable but in hotter weather I can imagine this could be an issue sine there wasn’t a lot of air flow. The washer and dryer is coin operated located in a common use area. While conveniently right around the corner, you will need to find quarters and time your use appropriately. Thursday and Friday night there was a lot of noise from surrounding bars….which was an issue because the AC unit in the master is installed via a piece of cardboard over the window so you can hear a lot of noise well into the wee hours of the morning. Overall we had a nice stay, would recommend and hope to be back in the area someday!

The location of the condo was great! The boardwalk and beach are steps away. The space was perfect for our family of 4. The extra fans and air conditioner in the bedroom were great for sleeping. There was a minor issue with the fan in one of the bathrooms, which we relayed to the owner. The owner is quick to respond with questions and such. We would stay here again.

Beachfront AND walking distance to more bars / restaurants than we could visit in our 10 day stay! (Not to mention a CVS and Ralph's practically across the street) We had a fabulous time at this Pacific Beach gem. Had everything we needed: starter toilet paper & paper towels, equipped kitchen, plenty of towels and linens. Parking spot was located right by elevator and sand shower in garage...a plus!We spent a lot of time on the balcony with a lovely view of the beach...as you can see, it didn't disappoint! Was a little chilly for swimming, but we enjoyed walking the beach, boardwalk and pier.We drove 1/2 hour to wine country one day and had a lovely time visiting local vineyards...we were surprised how many there are!We had so much fun trying a different happy hour every night...perfect location! Owner was very responsive to questions and was great to work with! We would definitely return to this vacation spot!

This is a great property in a fantastic location on the beach. We enjoyed watching the sun set from the condo every evening and listening to the crashing of the waves. It was useful to have free parking and a guaranteed parking space in the garage. The kitchen was well stocked and there are plenty of shops nearby. Communication with the owner was very good both before and during our stay.

PHENOMENAL condo! Great view of the waves from the balcony, always a must! A/C in the bedrooms kept us comfortable. The condo is clean, well kept, and well supplied. The building is secured, and a parking place in PB is amazing! This is our new place to stay in PB - near many great food and shopping options. LOVE IT! And if that's not enough - the owner was responsive and easy to work with, making the entire trip easy and carefree.Also has great corners for those unruly kids.

The host was prompt at getting back to us with every issue. I have no complaints about the host. They communicated appropriately to our concerns. If I was going to give any criticism it would be regarding the description of the unit on the website, which we felt was misleading. It is true that it is located right across the street from the beach and pier, so if these are your main desires, it checks these boxes, for sure. But, as for 5 star rental with crisp linens, air conditioning and washer/dryer… read carefully. The washer/dryer are outside the unit, around the corner, and are coin operated. The air conditioning consists of two noisy swamp coolers in the bedrooms. The master bedroom unit window opens onto the third floor hallway, so you can hear people passing and all the bar/alley noise. One night it pulled in the smells from the alley into the apartment, was not pleasant. We spent the warm night with the air conditioner off to get rid of the smell. The interior was sparse and not exceptionally clean, but I have been reassured by the host that our concerns would be addressed, and am hoping the next renter will indeed be able to give a 5 star rating. We did appreciate the ground floor parking garage, which was one of the reasons we rented this unit. All in all , it worked just fine for our short trip, and if you plan on spending your days on the beach, it’s perfect. It is also a close proximity to Ralph’s grocery store, which is very convenient.

You cannot find a better location in Pacific Beach. Once you get here, you do not even need a car. You can walk to everything. The host was so nice and so quick to respond to a few questions I had. Check in and checkout was very easy. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location...

... But the property itself left a lot to be desired. The unit and the overall building is really showing its age. The bathrooms are incredibly small and we had mold or mildew along the door track in our shower. There were other small details as well along those lines (e.g., carpeting, outside noise given the window mini split air conditioners, etc.).On the bright side, the property owner was really good to work with and the location was great, very central.
