This incredible Bayfront condo is located in Mission Beach and features a patio right on the boardwalk with a BBQ. Enjoy a spectacular a view of Mission Bay from the living room and just a 3 minute walk to the ocean. Features 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms plus a sofa bed. Master bedroom features comfy king bed. Rental includes use of beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, sand toys & boogie boards. Covered parking space for a compact to mid-size sedan. Comfortably accommodates 4-6 people.

Janet & Scott are your hosts. We are a husband and wife team and we live nearby. We own and operate Mission Beach Villas, a highly rated vacation rental management business in San Diego.

We are available 7 am to 10 pm to answer questions during your stay.

Our storefront rental office, Mission Beach Villas, is a mile away as well, so if you need anything feel free to stop by! If you have an early flight, you may stow your luggage at our office so you can go to lunch or hang out on the beach until check in time. And if you have an afternoon flight on checkout day you may also stow luggage. Just coordinate these details with us and we are happy to accommodate. Please note, we charge a small nominal fee for luggage storage.

Before your stay, we are happy to suggest our favorite restaurants, and tourist attractions and will help you get acquainted with the area.

The location is in one of the best spots of all of San Diego. The bay side of Mission Beach is the quieter, more peaceful side, with families with children staying in the houses nearby and is NOT the college party scene. (If that is what you're looking for please look for a rental elsewhere.)

There is no through-traffic on this end of Mission Beach, and the tip of Mission Beach has a great recreational area with volleyball nets and fire pits. It is far enough (1/2 mile) south of the roller coaster area so it's very removed from the tourist noise. It is off of the main boulevard and faces the bay, a very calm and peaceful atmosphere.

The location is just 6 miles from the airport and 11 miles to the downtown Gaslamp district. It is just 3 miles from Sea World.

The surfing is fantastic at the beach on the ocean side of Mission Beach for beginner to advanced surfers and great for spectators as well. We can recommend affordable one-on-one surf lessons or a group class that are offered daily on the beach. What's more, we can point you to all the best surf spots in San Diego County.

We offer self-check in and keyless entry to make your arrival as easy as possible. There are no keys to lose, just a simple 4 digit passcode to remember.

The beach condo includes a private patio that is right off of the boardwalk. You are welcome to use the BBQ and chill out on the patio to watch the locals cruise by on their bikes.

Included with the rental is the use of boogie boards, beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, and sand toys for the kids.

If you bring a car we will provide you with one parking space that will fit a compact to mid-size sedan. Keep in mind that the space is quite tight so don't expect to fit a large vehicle like an SUV, van, or truck. If you rent a car we recommend a compact car. And if you do bring more than one vehicle keep in mind that the other cars will have to park on the street. Street parking can be very difficult to find during sunny summer days in Mission Beach. (Not a problem the rest of the year.)

Riding bikes along the boardwalk is usually the most scenic way to get around and take in the atmosphere. Bike rentals are available by the day or the week at a rental shop nearby.

It is about a 10 minute walk down the boardwalk to Belmont Park where there are restaurants, bars, and shops. There is a small market within a very short walking distance (less than 5 min walk).

Uber/Lyft options are readily available for local transport at an affordable rate. If you've never used this service before download the phone app and you may find a discount code for first-time riders online.

Due to insurance reasons, the person booking must be at least 25 years old to book and must upload a photo of government ID to the host within 24 hours of booking.

Please note that we have occupancy based pricing in our settings. Please select the correct number of people in your group at the time of booking to get the correct pricing for your stay. Keep in mind, if you add more people to your group after booking the rate may adjust slightly. There is an additional charge of $20 per night for each additional person after the initial 4 people. This keeps our rates low and affordable for our average group size for this listing and helps us charge an appropriate fee for the additional linens and utilities used by a larger group size. Thank you for understanding.

If you include the sofa bed, this condo can sleep up to 6 people. However, since the condo is only 850 square feet we don't recommend it for more than 4-6 people.

We love children and want you to know that they are more than welcome as our guests. This means that children of any age, even infants, are counted as guests in your guest count. Please let us know in advance the ages of all children.

The covered parking space is rather narrow and will only fit compact to mid-size sedans due to the width of the space. A compact SUV's like a CRV or RAV will fit. Large vehicles will not fit in the assigned parking spot and will need to park on the street.

We can refer you to a vendor that can set up a private bonfire on the beach. Includes set up and take down, portable steel fire drum, roasting sticks, hot dogs, and s'mores. A perfect evening activity. The nighttime view of the bay is breathtaking. Inquire for details.

The beach condo is thoroughly cleaned between each stay. However if you wish for a cleaning and change of linens during your stay we can arrange for the housekeeper to come for an additional charge of the standard cleaning fee. Please give us one day's notice so we can get this scheduled.
