”The Hideaway was perfect for what we needed and close to Sea World and Old Town. The house was clean and easy to access, super cute too! My toddler loved the slide in the backyard and the outside table was great for her messy eating. The only things we would change, if it was up to us would be to have a larger couch, it seats 2 and the bed is noisy when anyone moves an inch. We would definitely stay again when visiting SD! ”

”Overall this was a great apartment in a very convenient location across from Balboa park and walking distance to a cool dog park and museums. The apartment was clean and comfortable. It was awesome to be able to bring our dog. The check in process was easy. And because they own the entire building there is staff you can talk to during business hours, which is great in case of emergencies. Cons of the place were pretty minor, but I thought still worth mentioning. We checked in late at night and...

The mop & bucket were left in the kitchen, there were no trash bags, no central air, no hand towels and the upstairs people were loud running back and forth at all times of the night. The beds were comfortable, the shower was good and all the appliances worked. Need more outlets in the kitchen. ”

”We loved our stay here! Hosts are very responsive and accommodating. The house rules are clearly written out and they offer a wealth of amenities. They have a BBQ, fire pits, hot tub, garage gym, beach equipment, and a fully stocked kitchen and bathroom. View of the airport was nice to watch the planes land and take off. City noise was not noticeable from the bedroom! Would love to stay again.”

”Not at all what appeared in pics, place was extremely dirty, odd smell, sheets were stained , and had dead bugs . Only redeeming quality was that host responded to messages after sharing pics and returned our money for the stay . Additionally was NOT within walking distance of gas lamp district. False advertising. ”

”Very nice apartment sized room, with refrigerator and coffee, and all utensils so take out was “perfect”. The gentleman onsite was very helpful with wifi and door locks. Once I got the hang of the locks, simple and safe.”

”The property is conveniently located to little Italy which by the way has some of the best restaurants I've ever been too. The host was so amazing allowing me to check in early after my flight got in well before check in time. I even stored my bags on site and went to have breakfast while waiting. The bed and pillows were so comfortable I wanted to take them home with me. I would definitely stay again and thanks again to Fir for your hospitality.”
