”Hieno miljöö, vanha, viihtyisä ja pieni hotelli keskellä San Juanin vanhaa kaupunkia. Ystäväpariskunnan huoneen seinät olivat OK, mutta meidän huoneessa kaksi seinää oli maalattu valkoisella 'lateksilla', joka kupruili lähes kauttaaltaan - amatöörikin näki, että kuprujen alla oli kosteutta (ymmärtäen kuvittelimme sen olevan viime syksyn hurrikaanin seurausta). Allergialääkkeillä selvisimme, mutta huoneessamme H2 oli kyllä vahva homeen haju. Se harmitti, koska muuten koko hotellin kokonaisuus...
”I stayed in a room with a terrace and it was lovely. I was worried that the Murphy bed might be uncomfortable, but it was very comfortable! The terrace was huge and with lots of places to sit and some shade. The room was larger than I expected, very clean and comfortable with a/c, a ceiling fan, a great closet (with lots of hangers) and very functional bathroom.
The location of the hotel is excellent - a short walk to everything in Old San Juan, and each staff member I had contact with was...
”The property was located in the perfect spot. We walked almost everywhere and had plenty to discover. There’s an insane amount of food and shopping stores nearby. The staff were very welcoming and professional! It’s also very clean and tidy.”
”It is very clean inside, the staff are very friendly. No parking if you have a car leave it down at the end by the police station or where the cruises come in don’t risk getting towed. Very safe the door to get in locks after a certain hour and you can only get in with your room key. Someone is always at the front desk. Everything is within blocks it’s very convenient. Everyday our room was cleaned and we were given fresh towels and the bed was changed. ”

The only surprise was that our room, which was really big and good as such, didn’t have a window! It was like an interior room in the middle of the hotel building and hence couldn’t have a window, but still it would have been good to see that info in the room description when booking the room. :-)

”We had an amazing time. The beds were amazingly comfortable. The bathroom and shower were clean. We did see a couple bugs, but I do understand we’re on a tropical island. They were tiny and not very overwhelming. It was great to have an air conditioning type unit in each area. It’s a great location everything we wanted to do was within walking distance. I would definitely recommend this to anybody going to Puerto Rico. One little sidenote, my daughter absolutely loved the ice cream shop across...

"Parisänky oli 120cm leveä. Kadulta kuuluu kova meteli (ei tosin haitannut meitä ja oli tiedossa). Varsinaista respaa ei ole, laukut voi jättää alakerran jalokiviliikkeeseen säilytykseen, jos se sattuu olemaan auki. Siivoojaa ei näkynyt liiemmin 4 päivän aikana (pyynnöstä olisi saattanut tulla tosin). Ilmastointia ei pystynyt säätämään. Vessapaperia sai vain rullan kerrallaan (eikä ollut muuta paperia), piti useamman kerran käydä pyytämässä lisää. Check-out jo kymmeneltä ja mukamas ei mitenkään sopinut että oltais saatu olla yhteentoista, vaikka lopulta siivooja ei kuitenkaan sinne aiemmin mennyt. Laatuun ja palveluun nähden aivan liian kallis. Vähän jäi huono maku suuhun. Ainoa plussa oli keskeinen sijainti ja iso jääkaappi."
