”There are 2 parts to this review. First the property is amazing, set in beautiful grounds with clearly marked trails and lots of birds and wildlife. All the staff are really helpful and clearly passionate about the location they work in. We did the onsite night walk and saw lots of animals including sloths, agouti, kinkajou and porcupine, alongside frogs and beautiful birds. ”The rooms were clean, staff is very friendly and aims to please. The lodge offers a simple nice breakfast. Dinner is also available if you confirm - we chose to eat off property. The road to arrive is extremely rough - potholes, less than two lanes at times - but worth it once you arrive. There was no TV in our room, I suggest making certain you have games or other entertainment. ”I could NOT recommend this stay more, it was absolutely amazing. The rooms are like private bungalows that have hammocks, a hottub, and a small fridge. The bar on sight is also a fantastic place to spend some time in the afternoon. It’s extremely close to the city center, the waterfall, and other activities. I wish I could have stayed longer!! I’d return in a heartbeat.”

”We visited Monteverde in the end of our vacation and it was definitely the right decision. Service was very polite and friendly. Rooms were clean and large, but cold, especially at nights. I think this was the best hotel for our purpose to visit the Monteverde forest area and there were also easy bus connections to Santa Elena. Food in the hotel restaurant was delicious!”

Madvarer hunde/katte foder og madskåle til dyr stod midt på gulvet i køkkenet Værelse var fint. Blev først gjort rent på 3. dagen da vi bad om det. ”

”Friendly service. Noisy neighbours disturbed a little because we were very tired and went to bed early. Noisy air conditioner. Earplugs helped a lot. Nice swimming pool, good beds, good breakfast. Good location.”
