”We couldn’t say enough about our stay! The grounds were beautiful, the rooms were very clean with a great Italian flare. There is lots of history to the property that we enjoyed. We loved our wine tour, and Thomas was extremely knowledgable and friendly throughout our experience. The resort was quiet and peaceful, with only a 20minute taxi to Florence we were still able to explore the nearby city. The front desk was extremely helpful and every worker went above and beyond. ”Hotel Tolomei was truly worth all its 5 stars! Our room was stunning and spotless, the breakfast was abundant, and the restaurant served excellent food. The entire staff was absolutely wonderful. Our wedding anniversary was made extra special with champagne and a cake prepared just for us. We stayed for six days, surrounded by breathtaking scenery with vineyards and olive trees all around. ”Big and comfortable rooms, great staff!
Very professional staff, both within the hotel and restaurant. The hotel had great food (apart from their hamburger which was really bad), we really recommend their florentine steak, which was superb!
The pool area was very nice, and the hotel was in great condition.
The only drawback of this hotel were the remote location (we arrived with a bus and had no car), and the fact that several guests reserved sunbeds for several hours without using them....

”Very nice Hotel, we were there for two nights: first one in a tree house and second one in a suite. Both rooms were very good in my opinion. Pool area is very nice. Also, restaurant serves very good food and breakfast was really ok.”

”This was by far the best hotel I have ever stayed at, as someone who travels solo often sometimes you are just looking for some peace and not having to do everything on your own. I am in awe of the property. If you are looking for privacy, story book views, and gardens this is the place to be. The staff is also incredibly kind and always looking to help in any way they can. A must stay, I will be back with family/friends next time. ”
