Guy at reception was very friendly, especially as we were concerned we may not be able to park there as no space, but did manage to in the end. Hotel is great...not the most modern, no, but homely and rooms have always been spacious, clean and welcoming. The bar/club is great for a night out. Would definitely recommend. Very close to town centre and beach too. Well done Royal Exeter!”

A++++ for the staff, they were super helpful and friendly. Situated very close to the magnificent beach, but far from supermarkets, and public transport. Parkingplaces are full, but as promised, we got a place.

”We had a lovely couple of nights here. The room was good, very comfy bed and there was a freestanding fan unit for hot weather. Lovely walk in shower with shampoo and shower gel and plenty of soft towels.
There were tea and coffee making facilities and complientary bottles of water, plus homemade biscuits in the room. If you needed more of anything you could get it from the reception desk. The free wifi worked fine all over the hotel.
