Had a great morning taking the Sandia Peak Tramway from 6100’ to 10,600’. Got to watch a someone parasail up another 1000’ and will be sailing for 3 to 5 hours.

Rare "cloud sandwich" between two separate layers of clouds, said to happen every 5 years or so.

Typically gorgeous sunset in Albuquerque during the late-summer monsoon season. Never fails to amaze!

I did not expect this from this location. I drove to the top of Sandia crest and was met with just an epic sunset. Too good not to shoot!

This memorial to Phillip B Telllosfrud is located at a trailhead leading out into the Sandia Mountain foothills at Elena Gallegos Park. This lovely spot features artistic stone creations and nearby covered picnic spots along with vaulted toilets, with only a $2 visitors fee.

An easy hike but not crowded due to having to take the tram to get there. It snowed in May so be prepared for the cold.

Came across a large rock face being scaled by climbers on a Sandia foothills trail. Gorgeous hike and lots of fun watching these adventurers climb and rappel!
