”Loved this little property. Great location and just steps away from the beach and close some really great restaurants! The cottage was very clean and just perfect for 1 person or a couple. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back for another stay! ”

”It was a fantastic and the unit was modern with fantastic finishes. Very comfortable and cozy with a direct access to o e of the most beautiful peaful beaches in FL. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone especially families. The location on the island is centered so you are not close to anything but also not far to anything either. Fantastic place and the host was very attentive and always communicating with us.”

”Enjoyed our stay. Perfect sized cottage for the two of us. Wish the bathroom had a shelf for cosmetic bags and dop kits, but we managed. Liked the beach access and parking pass even though it was a long walk from the parking lot to the beach. Communication with the owners was very was good. No dishwasher, no laundry facilities, no hair dryer but towels and beach chairs (too low for us old folks) were provided. Umbrella would have been nice. Lots of the island things to do were within...

”Lovely lovely cottage a short walk to a private beach. Beach gear in the closet (two chairs, an umbrella, and a cooler!). We rode the available bikes to the beach everyday- 3 minute bike ride! Nice lagoon in the back to watch the pretty birds. Room is quaint-just right for 2 people for a 3-day stay! We will for sure be back! (The bed is not comfortable but we made due!!!!) :-)”

The only two issues we had: We couldn’t figure out how to turn off the ceiling fan in the living room (it was always on at high speed)There was a sulfur odor in the neighborhood at times, which we found out from neighbors that is a thing in Sanibel. Nothing to do with the property itself.”

”Our first trip to Sanibel Island did not disappoint. Periwinkle Cottage #4 Egret was PERFECT! From the time of booking, management was very informative of procedure, rules, things to do, everything we needed up front. They texted when our unit was ready, so the early check in was much appreciated. Very clean and perfect size for us. Everything stated on the website was provided. ”This is the perfect spot for two people. The hotel was ideally located next to a small shopping center with a restaurant, beach goods shop, and ice cream parlor...and just 5 minute walk from the beach! It was clean and well appointed. We had everything we needed for a long-weekend getaway. We'll definitely be back!”

”Practically new, clean, all house keeping supplies available except hair dryer. Location of laundry unclear in description. Could use an internal bug zapper. Office staff customer friendly. Overall, an excellent facility will stay here again when we return to Sanibel.”
