”We didn't have breakfast there. Bar offered a good choice of drinks. The extractor fan didn't work in the on suite but it was kept very clean. The stairs to the room were quite steep and the doors were very close together making it a little difficult to manoeuvre. The toilet was quite tall so shorter people may find their feet wouldn't touch the floor. The bed was very comfortable.”

”The whole place needs a refurb. My bedroom could have done with a clean and the toilet actually needed flushing before I could use it. The stairs and corridors wer dusty in corners and one corridor had a peculiar smell. I know it was an old building but I’m sure even old buildings could have lifts installed and maybe ramps and here one or two steps are. Not good value for money and the breakfast certainly wasn’t. The restaurant and bar are were clean and smart and the staff were pleasant and...

”The manager and staff at this hotel go above and beyond. My wife is disabled and travelling can be a challenge. The folks here just go out of the way to make things as easy as they can. The accessible room is large and the bathroom with its roll in shower and shower stool is well designed and functional. Top marks to all the staff.”

”Debra and Drew were very welcoming hosts. We used The Barn as a lauch pad to visit Chartwell and Knole. Perfect choice. The accommodation was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. We were spoilt for choice regarding local eateries. We chose The White Hart for dinner and it was top knotch. ”

”Very poor. We paid for a deluxe triple room as it was cheaper than a standard double, when we arrived the gentleman told us we couldn’t have that room as it was under occupied and would have to have another room. The room was poor Avoid this place ”

”We stayed at Salomons Estate as a group of 12 people. The grounds are lovely, and the facilities are well looked after considering the age and character of the property. The staff were really helpful throughout our stay. Everything was clean, and both the bedrooms and bathrooms were a good size. Although the rooms are a little outdated, the bedding was very comfortable, which made for a pleasant stay overall.”

”The room was very clean with tea, coffee, milk and sugar provided. Not a great selection of teas but fine for us. The beds were comfortable and sheets clean and ironed. Small TV but that didn't bother us as we were out more than in. Good selection at breakfast with cereal, yoghurts, fruit juice. Very good cooked breakfast with several options. Tea and coffee served in your own pots. Staff really friendly.”
