”Lovely staff, very friendly. The guesthouse is located a bit away from the town centre, but for me that was fine. It was anyway in a walking distance from bus station (that I needed). My room was nice with a fridge, television and a possibility to make tea. Also wi-fi. All the facilities (toilet and shower) were in a corridor, but they were nice and clean and as there were only a couple of rooms, I never had to wait for my turn.”

”What a lovely hotel! This kind of hotels is the reason we love to visit UK; they are unique, beautifully decorated and the service is wonderful! The room was tiny but beautiful and it had everything we needed. It was very quiet and warm. The breakfast was very good and the dinner at the pub was excellent. We would love to go back!”

”We arrived around 4:30, the carpark was busy and the restaurant really busy - wasn’t an issue for us as we were going out. The reception is away from the hustle and bustle of the bar/ restaurant which was good. The room was big enough, but the beds are really small. My husband had to go and ask for another room (on his own) as the double was bearly wide enough for both of us, let alone long enough. … so if you are over 5’8 you will struggle. ”Nice spacious bedroom, although bed was not that confortable. Very friendly staff and bonus live mudic on the Friday evening. Overall very good value.”

”Breakfast was not good. Only 2 pieces of bacon left and 1 hash brown. Also was never told they charge you an extra £20 for checking in before 3pm. Luckily the receptionist did have a room ready so gave it to me without charging. This is something to look out for.”

”Yes and Yes. 1 point. As an older person, my head is dropping to bits. I have a single tooth denture. Such thing is quite small. I tend to brush it under a running tap. Had I done this, there would have been a severe danger of it disappearing down the plughole and lost for ever (Cost £250). Because the plug mechanism is missing which leaves the drain hole completely open! (Room 5).”
