”Stayed there for a wedding and the pumps were broke so flat drinks were served all day/night, nothing was done about it and food at the wedding was served without notification so we had none.”

”Staff lovely and accommodating, room was spacious, lovely view of the river, comfy bed and clean fresh bathroom. Had a lovely evening meal in the sun by the river, and breakfast was great. And all for a very reasonable price, would definitely stay again”

”I stayed there for one night as there an event in the same hotel. The stay was comfortable and the breakfast was good too.”

The only slight negative is that on the last day, I wanted to get my bill while the reception was quiet at breakfast time before the check out rush but the receptionist advised me that due to a new system, if I got the bill, the room would no longer be accessible.”

”I recently stayed in a Superior Double Room and was disappointed by the overall experience, particularly considering the premium rate charged. The room itself was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the hotel benefits from a large free car park, which was appreciated. However, several aspects fell well below what I would expect from a superior room. The room felt somewhat dated, and attention to detail was lacking. Only one teaspoon was provided despite there being two mugs in the room....

”This property is being refurbished and during the day there is constant noise of drilling and banging. The walls of my room were vibrating from the drilling which seemed to be directly above. I received no advance warning of this work and it is not detailed in Expedia’s information about the place. The work starts promptly at 8.30 in the morning although Iheard builders moving around and talking at around 6.50am, which is unacceptable. In addition, there was no hot water on my second morning....

”Very difficult to get to post code took us 18 miles away from hotel. Also claims to be Chorley South but is on northbound of motorway. Not a good experience”
