”Lovely little b-and-b with a view. Friendly and helpful owner Mayanne, and and excellent breakfast brought to the room. Good value for money!”

”Nice, simple, clean room in Benbecula, South Uist. The innkeeper was very welcoming and friendly. There is a nice hotel restaurant a short walk away from the Hebridian Stay. We would stay here again the next time we visit south/north Uist.”

”Brae Lea is far more than one would expect. The location is a short walk to the Ferry Terminal at Lochboisdale - yet driving from the north, you feel as if you’re nestled in the foothills of a mountain (because you are). Rupert is an outstanding host, and he doubles as a 5-Star concierge. He helped us sort travel and touring arrangements as well as made breakfast and suggested dinner options. The Brae Lea accommodations are also top drawer. Clean - efficient - spacious - inviting. Full marks...

”This accommodation is very remote. But really nice. The rooms are large and clean with nice en-suite facilities and the dining room - in an extended sun room - is spacious and comfortable. Very well run by a lovely couple we enjoyed our stay. Take dinner here - it’s very good value and enjoyable.”

”After difficulties finding a place everything was running smoothly! (the google map gives a bit wrong location---it is on the crossroad to Birsay actually) hostess was absolutely friendly and room was very comfortable indeed. great location to start exploring Orkney. very quiet at night! Thank you!”

”Helpfull staff, cozy room”

”Very lovley and charming B&B with excellent hosts and breakfast and jam/marmalade choices! We only regret staying one night!”

”Such a lovely property with an even lovelier couple running it. Would definitely recommend to anyone traveling to Oban.”

”The facilities were great . Our room was the Hayloft and was fantastic . I would say more like a studio flat with our own kitchen dining and lounge areas . It was very relaxing such a lovely place overall. We chose to have breakfast in the cafe each morning and it was excellent. The staff were very helpful when it came to local eating out for evening meals and things to see and do . I definitely agree with others I would give it a 10 out of 10 and will be back”

”Comfortable bed, lovely towels, great breakfast, wonderful hosts. Nice view of loch from breakfast room.”

”We pitched up on a dull afternoon and were delighted with our room. Spacious and with a bathroom with a bath. The chef was sick so we decided having a few options to have some food in the room and enjoy the tv. A nice tray was brought up with soup and cold meats focaccia etc. All very nice in the circumstances.”

”Loved my stay”
