”It was a great place to stay, its something new and different, when i stayed me and wife were the only 2 people checked in, we meet the owner of the property got a tour around the place, the garden area needs a little TLC on the path ways but we didnt mine this it was nice, the owner is extremely happy nice lady she was upbeat and chatting each time she saw us made sure we were okay and check if we needed anything.

”Lovely tranquil campsite. We stayed in the 2 man pod, clean, comfortable and secluded. We had pizzas in the evening which were super delicious and so reasonably priced. Friendly staff, all round a great place to stay”
”A lovely place to stay and would not think twice about returning. The views from the property are outstanding. Just a short drive to Monmouth High Street with plenty of pubs and restaurants to choose from. Hosts are more than welcoming and friendly and the breakfast was perfect - variety of cereals, fruit, juice and tea/coffee to choose from and the full English was cooked to perfection. You won't be disappointed if you stay ”

”We were really impressed especially by the friendliness & attentiveness of the staff. Very welcoming. Room was spacious, well provisioned & comfortable. Glad there was a fan as it was a hot night. We pre-booked for an evening meal & it was excellent 10/10 for taste & cooked to perfection. Enjoyed our breakfast too & both meals were very generous portions. Would definitely recommend - only here for one night but would love to stay longer next time.”
”Interesting rambling hotel built into the hillside, resulting in multiple steps up to the bedrooms. Excellent restaurant and friendly and helpful staff.
Minor niggles on the plumbing & shower: the cold pipe appear to be bundled with the hot and produces tepid water unless run for a long time - not ideal in a heatwave. The soap dispensers are about head level that make them awkward to operate. A lower location would be better. No basket or shelf in the shower for flannel or own soap or shampoo.”
”Maria, who is front of house, was so welcoming and later, in the dining room she tirelessly looked after us and all the other guests. The food was fantastic and I understand her husband is head chef, Joseph Colman. The rooms were attractive and very comfortable with lovely bathrooms. I would certainly recommend this as a wonderful getaway. ”
