The Asbury Hotel
The room was nice and clean. The staff were friendly. It was just me and my dog. I reserved this hotel because I was attending a 3-hour wedding reception in Lake Como and they were dog friendly. However, their pet policy, which is not available on their website, stated pet guests cannot be left unattended ...

Howard Johnson Hotel by Wyndham Toms River
The property needs a serious renovation, which can be overlooked if it’s clean and the beds are comfortable…but not the case. The beds were awful, the room needed a good cleaning, the hallways smelled like stale smoke. Not a place I would recommend.
