”Nice place. Staff were friendly and the place was super clean. Pros: spacious rooms, clean, close to restaurants and shops. Cons: not sure why the room itself does not have any usb ports which is really unusual now a days. Washroom was tiny would be better if the door swung the other way to open. Pool was very small and salty. Other wise it was nice stay would come back.”

”My room was so lovely, with a comfortable bed, a nice view of the city, very clean, and quiet. It's a great location for exploring the city - walkable to good restaurants (I loved La Bola), the GeVa Theater, Planetarium, and many good coffee shops (Albunn was fantastic). This hotel just has so much more character than a chain. Highly recommend! ”

”The stay here was pretty much OK. It can use a few improvements. Room was nice and clean. The walls are paper thin and I could hear everything going on next to me and above me. The lights in the room shut off automatic after a few min, which was crazy if you were sitting in the bathroom. The bathroom only had 1/2 a roll of TP and no spares. Same with paper towels in the kitchenette. The king size bed was hard as a rock and my back felt it the 3 nights I was here. Other than that, it is a decent...

”Our stay at S31 was great. The building is incredible and the rooms are modernized, but still have the original woodwork. The Village gate is close with great restaurants and boutique shops. The neighborhood is full of history and a great place to take a late night walk. Although there is not currently a dining area at the property, they have great snack options for enjoying in the room and great local wines. Cleaning housekeepers opened door without knocking at 10:30AM (1.5 Hr before noon check out time) The hotel is at great location for being close to Eastman School of Music, but the streets were under construction during my visit in April 2026.”
