The decore in the rooms are very unique. The downside was the bed, it had a shelf surrounding and being short it made it hard to get in and out of bed. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was a little disappointing with not much selection to choice from. Overall a great experience and would definitely return

The staff are the best and will go above and beyond to assist customers. The breakfast was fine. The location is excellent and within walking distance of most things you would want and need on holiday. The peacocks and other birds that live on the grounds made it a wonderful, unique place to stay. The beds are really not comfortable, unfortunately. Oh, and there seemed to be a shortage of napkins and toilet paper for some strange reason: we did however, find plenty in the shop, some 50 metres from the hotel.

Het is een mooi resort. Ze moeten het wel blijven onderhouden. Nabijgelegen strandtent Poco Loco geeft wel geluidsoverlast. Stroom wordt dagelijks van 2u tot 5u eraf gehaald uit voorzorg wat wel ongemak geeft want er is dan ook geen water. Ontbijt was goed. Het blijft een leuke locatie en je moet ook bedenken dat het wel Afrika is met zijn beperkingen maar ook bekoringen.

Com reserva confirmada, cheguei ao hotel de madrugada com minha filha. Esperando mais de meia hora pro recepcionista aparecer. Quando chegou, estava com cara de sono. Segundo ele, não havia reserva nem no meu nome, nem no número de confirmação que eu apresentei. Não teve conversa. Esperamos até às 5 horas da madrugada e tivemos de procurar um local pra dormirmos um pouco, até podermos procurar um hotel decente pela manhã. Estava escuro e não havia sequer táxi no local. Até deixar o estabelecimento foi difícil. Peço que o hoteis.com apure o ocorrido. Espero uma reparação. Não passei da recepção, que, bem desarrumada, me passou uma péssima impressão quanto à limpeza e a classificação do hotel

Bra vistelse, men poolen kan bli bättre
Vad överlag en bra vistelse här på Bamboo Village. Bra pris, nära till stranden och trevlig personal. Finns en bar som visar fotboll om man är intresserad av det. Det enda negativa är skicket och renligheten av poolen. Finns mer att göra här för att ta hotellet till nästa nivå. Vi hade löst mycket klagomål om frukost och ljudnivå. Där tycker jag inte det var några problem alls!

When I arrived to check in I was told that the place was overbooked. And there were no rooms available.

We really liked the hotel, the setting is magnificent, the staff pleasant and professional... we had booked for 2 days but we ended up staying for 5 days. Honestly it is a very nice hotel

Improvement
I changed rooms 3 times due to A/C issues, privacy, and also outside noise. No A/C in public areas eg, lobby and breakfast area. I did brought the issues that I experienced with the General manager. As a hotel manager my self, I made some recommendations. I worked for Hilton brand hotels .

I had a lovely stay at this accommodation. Very close to the beach. The WiFi was not so good in the rooms. Staff are really happy to help with anything.

It was the best resort I stayed at since arriving. The staff was amazing, the food was the best I had since I came, the rooms is fabulous nice and cool. I love this resort I will be back again. Everything was positive vibes. The bar was awesome, the cooks know how to cook. The smiling coast was nothing but love.

Important tip the management should take seriously
the pool was not read for us to used n they should have told us that on the internet The matress on the bed are too thin please let them find a thicker one And please let them change the bed sheet everyday let them dont leave the same dirty onces everyday or else you asked them to change it before they do , it should not be that way And please let all room come with a fridge n micro wave please , make the hotel a stander hotel an also an iron to iron your clothes , why you have to pay for all does stuffs seprate and the room i was aircondition was not working properly n i called the mentanices guy several time to come fix it n he cant do anything it like gas was finish

Great resort grounds. The room was very comfortable-high ceilings, AC available. Bathroom was nice. Breakfast was a buffet of assorted and delicious foods. Beach accèss was à 2 min walk but nearby had multiple dining options. Only real issue I had was the inefficient check in. Check in which should have been 2min at 1am turned out to be almost 30min due to the receptionist sluggishness choosing to answer the phone instead of attending to us. Also wifii was not the greatest- sporadic and not strong.

Mycket trevlig personal. Rent och snyggt. Stranden ligger cirka 3 minuters promenad bort. Rekommenderas. Bra att tänka på att löner i Gambia är mycket låga och även dricks på så lite som 20 sek tas tacksamt emot.

The staff went out their way to make my granddaughters birthday very special. They were all really helpful & friendly. The setting is beautiful & quite peaceful.The pool accommodates younger children & is very safe. At weekends there is a fun karaoke night & a bouncy castle for children. Really enjoyed the stay and would definitely return.
