Huvilat – Shasta Cascade

”What a delightful surprise. Not knowing anything about this place I booked it on a glance at the listing. A cute little BNB with clean rooms and friendly staff. A little close to the freeway so expect background road noise, but that comes with ease of access. Check in was easy, price was great. Will stay again next time I drive down i5. ”

”This is my go-to hotel in Redding. Super dog friendly, the staff are helpful and lovely, the rooms are nice and comfortable, and they have plenty of parking. I’m on a work trip and have stayed at 3 different hotels this week (independent hotel, large chain, and Americana Modern Hotel) and this was by far the cleanest and most modern room that I’ve had. ”

”We stayed in Redding for 1 night, the hotel was perfect for our needs. Easy off of the freeway, safe area, super clean. There is a great little place to eat just across the parking lot called Dills Deli! Awesome BBQ and food! Great service there and just steps across the parking lot from the hotel. Would definitely stay here again, and eat at Dills!!”

”You took advantage of the spa and got a massage. It was wonderful. Very good value if you're traveling through. Less expensive rooms are not on the ponds or river. the spa sets by the river very nice atmosphere.The rooms by the river are more expensive but if you're staying more than one night it might be worthwhile.”

”I am very grateful to the front office staff person who went out of her way to retrieve my library book that I left behind and hold it for me at the front desk. Very kind and thoughtful.”

”Easy parking, good breakfast, comfortable bed. Towels are a little rough would be only complaint.”
