âAs a football fan, it was great to stay at a place with such a close association to the professional game. The grounds and buildings there were very grand and impressive. I stayed at the main house with a sprawling set up providing space for work on my laptop and a big bathroom with a cracking shower. âPlenty of parking, the room was clean and the welcome friendly.The downside was the restaurant was closed when arrived so the alternative was to go out again.
We didn't bother, it might have been better to have had some notice of this and we could made other arrangements it didn't spoil matters.â
