âBreakfast was self serve up by the rooms but worked fine. No toiletries in the bathroom to shower in the morning . No TV but that did not bother me. Quite a nice change.
Lovely pub with a roaring log fire and nice dinner menu in a very cute village

âThe room is a nice size, clean, but very very dated, the shower was in the bath and not very good.
The hotel itself is located not far from Stansted airport and it's the only reason I would consider booking again.
The parking at the hotel is very poor and pretty much a free for all but the car park next door is free between 6pm to 8am with proper painted bays where people park rather than just abandon their cars.
All in all it was an ok choice of a place to stay for an early flight but I doubt...

âThe room was adequate as I was only staying for one night. There was a ceiling fan which was needed as the central heating was on quite high. The one negative with the room was that the shower wasn't very warm. Also the secure parking on sight costs an additional ÂŁ10.â

âCheck-in was fine, but the leisure facilities were a letdown. The pool was cold, the jacuzzi didnât work, and the steam room was out of order. Lockers were unreliable and needed a ÂŁ1 coin, which is odd for a card-only facility.
The saunas are segregated and located in the changing rooms, which isnât ideal for a couples stay. The male sauna also smelled strongly of urinals. We left almost immediately. At least we werenât charged.
We booked an Executive room, but it didnât feel like one. The...
