”Clean room, quiet area. Breakfast area is quite small, so get down there early.”

”False advertisement the pictures of the rooms are not the same as pictures in Expedia and it's a bunch of homeless people staying there and outside all day and night with junk everywhere so it's not the safest and the rooms are beyond disgusting they do the bare minimum of cleaning.Doors don't close all the way and there's broken cabinets and blinds so people can see of ur room.Not worth spending money on a stay here.”

”We arrived at the hotel and when we got in the room the smell of cat pee was so strong we could not even get in it. Terrible smell. We did not get our refund either and after several attempts we received an e-mail indicating that the hotel could not be reached for resolution. Terrible experience.”

”So many hotels in the area had reviews of being dirty and gross so I had canceled my previous reservation somewhere else and booked this one based upon their reviews and it did not disappoint. It was a good value hotel, and it was very clean.And family safe”

”I don’t usually try to write a bad review but this experience was too much There is no way the pictures used are anywhere near current. Neither room we had didn’t have something broken. The ceiling look like it had been patched 10 different spots. We had 2 rooms. I called for days and could not get anyone on the phone to ask if we could have connected rooms got there and they are like oh yeah we have some but you had to be earlier … Upon checking in we waited 25 minutes for someone to come...

”Disaster. Dirty and outdated. At 11:00 at night they needed to evacuate the 2nd floor because someone fell thru the stairs. The fire Marshall was there and deemed the 2 nd floor unsafe because we didn’t have 2 sets of stairs to exit if needed. They moved us to a first floor room and told me I would be compensated for 1 night. Just got my charges in the card and they never gave me the credit. Stay away from this property.”

”Just Wonderful! This hotel is gorgeous design wise; a true architectural beauty that pays hommage to heritage design and flanked with modern touches. Everything was spotless and felt like a complete upgrade. The lobby is breathtaking upon arrival and our room did not disappoint. This Hilton made sure that the feeling is anything but generic. The staff was more than accommodating. They were so attentive to every need for food, site seeing etc,. I would be excited to make this my stay in York...

”The staff treated me with the most disrespect gave me a hard time about cleaning towels would not give me a plastic fork after breakfast. I would never recommend this hotel. We have a business where we spend a lot of money on hotels. We chose this one because it was the closest to our site for work, but I will never go back. We will go back to using the Hampton In.”
