”On arrival radiator in room not working and still not working when we left after 3 nights . Day 2 we had electric heater provided. Continental breakfast was poor no fruit juices or fresh or fruit cocktail ( or tinned. No bread or toast machine butter or preserves . Small boxes of cereals and unappealing croissants were there. Although this is our personal opinion other guests were saying the same to us. The general Manager was very nice and needs a medal trying to get things sorted . The...

”First thing we saw on entering the room were several quite big green (ink?) stains on the carpet. A lovely big bed but only 2 small pillows, so had to ask for more. The room was very hot and although we found a fan it didn’t get below 26 degrees the 3 nights we were there, outside not over 22 degrees in the day! We went to the Restaurant our first night and waited 30 mins for a drink. The food was not good and loud party of golfers drove us to the bar. Not much better so took wine to our room....

”Far too fussy and too much clutter, no room to put anything anywhere. All cupboards full. Good job only two of us so we could use spare bedroom for our cases etc. Very clean ,very quiet, but no local information. Tesco express 100 yards but very few amenities in village. No direct sun at this time of year so despite good weather couldn’t sit outside.”

”What a lovely stay, we stayed in the print room which was the perfect size, very homely and welcoming, overlooking the market square. Communication with The Dial House Team was via WhatsApp, they responded straight away and were always happy to help. The location is perfect being 30 minutes drive from some great sights. Breakfast was lovely, huge croissants. Honestly can’t fault anything. I’d definitely recommend and would love to stay again, I want to try one of the other rooms as they’re all...

”I booked a garden room which I thought should look over the garden but it didn’t it look over a wall one way and a back yard the other right next to the laundry room all you could hear was the washing machines and dryer. It was a same was a garden room at all. The pool was very cold.”
