”We loved the Thompson! Everything was amazing! We used to live in Savannah and this area has become such a pleasant addition to Savannah! Staff helped us quickly with an HDMI hookup and accommodations were wonderful.”

”This is an older property, and it shows in some of the details in the rooms.
There was a leak in our room so we had to be moved twice. There was water stains in the toilet of one of the rooms.
On the positive side the staff was accommodating and very kind. The breakfast was good and the views are amazing! The interior balcony is also nice.
I would say the rooms really need some upgrades but outside of that the hotel was fine.”

”From the ambience, to the coziness, staff, food and bar, it felt luxurious but not stuffy. This place was like a nice glass of brandy. The feel of hardwoods on your feet in the morning and the spaciousness removed the hotel feel. The location next to Reynolds Square, food, fair, etc…superb. Even the valet, perfection. Treat yourself. I’ll be back with friends….oh, and order the Mamie Taylor at the main bar.”
