”Very nice hotel inside - few wear and tear items but nothing I couldn't live with. Staff were always friendly and nice, often having to deal with some perverse remarks from other guests. They respect your privacy, especially if you're there on business or for confidential reasons.”

”Perfect for our one night stop-over enroute to another venue. It's quite a big, old building with some quirky features but we had everything needed in our room which was well presented. Staff were personable. Breakfast was good. The hotel sits on a one-way road system. It's compact car park is to the rear of the property. If you miss the hotel car park sign on approach and pass the hotel on your left, follow the one-way clockwise, turning left just before the hotel. ”

”Really nice place. My wife and I spent an enjoyable few days in the area and despite a wedding being held at the hotel the weekend we were there, there was no problem with noise or access to facilities. Lovely restaurant, grounds, spa and staff. ”

”Stayed here a few times when visiting family. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Breakfast is amazing, really sets you up for the day. Living in the US you don't get breakfast like this. The only thing I would like to see is the amenities in the bathroom more eco friendly. Liquid hand soap as opposed to a bar. Some hotels even have the dispensers in the showers. This would have been handy for our shower as you had to put the shower gel on the floor. Coffee, not used to making this with...

”I was running late and they rang me to make sure they would be there when i arrived, great service. Warm welcome quick check in, took us to our room carrying our bag, great service. Furnishing all the way to room excellent. Room was huge (told it was one of the smaller ones! Huge settee with a large telly above it. What looked like a full kitchen setup ie. Cooker hob sink plenty in a slim units well equipped. A huge very comfy king size bed. At the end of the room was a free standing roll top...
