”Wasn’t bad but felt weird host didn’t meet in person and was living above me made me and my service pup sketchy towards the end of the night. I think if they would’ve at least met me, (I would wanna know who’s in my basement also) it might’ve not made it so weird”

”Great space for groups. Well stocked. Great view and nice sandy and shallow bottom for little ones. Paddle boards and kayaks a big plus as was access to renting a pontoon. Road in front sometimes noisy and speeds not controlled. Great communication with host! Definitely recommend.”

”I have stayed here before and had great experience. There were a couple of snafoos when I arrived but everything worked out in the end. The stairs going up to my place were not ideal but I survived. I want to thank Rebecca for all her help and kindness. I want to thank the wonderful Kenton for coming down the next morning to do a great job getting my room in tip top shape. And last but not least, Scott. He came down from the Pub to reset my lock to make sure I would be completely safe. I...

”Great place. Very clean. It felt brand new. All staples you need plus there were snacks, coffee and waters. The po d out back is great for fishing! It was a surprise that the guest house is attached to the main house. However, we never saw or heard anything that impacted our time here. The location is very close to Hillsdale College. There are a handful of places to eat and trails arboretum nearby. 30 min from IMS.”

”We had a great time. The owners were very attentive and friendly. Our family enjoyed using the kayaks and exploring the lakes and channels nearby, as well as using the fishing gear that was all supplied at the house. Quiet and peaceful area, the lake is very private so we could float around casually and go to the sand bar.”

”The place appeared unkept on the outside. There were cigarette buts on the walkway and the tiles were broken. I thought it was strange for a bed to be in the living room and the second bedroom had a table and chairs in it. The bathroom lights were bare light bulbs. It’s an old house and needs some fixing up. It was adequate for our needs.”
