”The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Liked the table and chairs. Shower was great plenty of power and hot water. Loved the lounge and the fact that there were wine glasses. BREA”

”The breakfasts were good, although they weren't included, but it was hard to get an evening meal. The room I stayed in was near the road and boiler/ air conditioning so it was very noisy so I slept very badly. The fire alarm went off early in the morning and we didn't get any information from the staff so didn't know if it was safe to return to our rooms. Although geographically it worked well I wouldn't stay there again.”

”Great location but hotel tired and in need of upgrade. Staff friendly and work hard but under staffed at breakfast. Booking in at to wait as no one at reception (4 in afternoon) breakfast on second day was a fiasco and people got up and walked out. I am afraid I won’t be returning as it stands”

”The hotel itself is lovely, the room we stayed in was spacious, high powered shower & a mini fridge. Major issue with pigeons on the balcony, 3 nesting plus others hopping about & unfortunately with pigeons comes a horrific amount of poop! Couldn’t have window open for fear of them coming into the room. Also our breakfast experience was ruined by the chefs inability to cook eggs. Poached or fried the yolks were hard despite (not that I should have to) asking for them to be runny. This really is...

”The staff was very friendly and very helpful, because we put "do not disturb" sign outside the door so they even left us a note saying they would help if we need anything, and I find it very caring and helpful, and the room was very clean and smell very fresh and nice, definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family and me and my girlfriend I'll definitely come back!!”

”Terrible experience, 1st night room was like a shoe box extremely hot in this heat wave with no air con and windows open 2inches with massive extractor fan outside very noisy and smelly, complained but waste time staff didn't want to know, took 2 & half hours of complaining at night to get them to turn extractor off so we could get some sleep, went off nearly 2am! Moved room next day but again no air con anywhere in hotel or rooms so extremely hot again in this heat wave....place is tired and...

”Well located. Owner friendly and helpful. Room had a fan (no aircon) which was tricky in the June 26 heatwave. Probably fine in normal weather.”

”The first greeting was the stink of dogs had to go to shop and get some smellies,the road noise was terrible , So many gaps around windows and doors it never warmed up, the lounge furniture was filthy think it all needs replacing perhaps not have dirty smelly animals in there, managed 3 x nights but couldnt wait to get home.”
