”I stayed in B2, which is a basement room. It had a VERY strong mildew odor, chipped furniture with crooked drawers, and patchwork paint on the ceilings. This room does NOT warrant the 3.5 rating that this property has, however, other rooms may be better. The shower was clean, however, so they earned one Star for that.”

”We had a wonderful stay at Wayside Inn. Our host, Joe, was very helpful and was a great chef! Our breakfasts were very good and got us ready for the day ahead. Parking was not a problem and the surrounding yard was shady and pleasant. The giant oak in the front is reported to be 200 or more years old. Our room and bath were well maintained. We would definitely stay there again. The Inn also has a great history dating back to the late 18th Century. It is said that George Washington stayed there...

”Super close to Merriweather Post Pavilion, the shuttle service two and from the concert venue was spot on. It was great to not have to worry about driving and the hotel itself was clean with a very helpful staff.”

”Have stayed here many times while visiting my family. Very pleased with the with my stay . The only negative is you have to pay for parking you pay enough for the room , parking should be included”

”Beautiful location. It’s in the heart of Columbia but tucked away perfectly for a nice retreat. Right by a nice trail. The view of the lake is breathtaking. Pool closes kind of early so make sure you pay attention to the time. Restaurant was worth every penny. Beds were nice. Loved the personalized touch with the tv having my name on it.”

”I ended up staying long-term due to home renovations, and it felt as comfortable as home and was better than expected. The staff were friendly, but I think a signpost indicating the location of the room is needed.”
