”The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. The neighborhood is safe. We stayed one night for a wedding in German Village, so it was very close and we Ubered to and from the venue. It was perfect for our stay. House does have central air and the downstairs was comfortable, but the bedrooms were a bit stuffy. One bedroom did have a window unit, but no ceiling fan. ”Unfortunately this stay didn’t meet expectations due to cleanliness and maintenance issues. We found multiple broken items around the house, and the couch had an unpleasant body-odor smell. The dishwasher also wasn’t functioning correctly, and I had to repair it myself, then rewash the dishes because they weren’t clean.Safety was also a concern: the stairs were missing a hand rail, and the top step is very narrow and steep, which felt dangerous.
